Agreement Overview

This Agreement establishes a relationship between the Client and Doma Cleaning, specifically referring to your local Doma Cleaning office. It governs the introduction of tradespeople to the Client by Doma Cleaning as per the terms stated herein.

Your agreed-upon requirements and fees, as well as payment terms with our tradespeople, have already been discussed and finalized with our representative. Payments to tradespeople will be made directly by you, the Client, on the day of service or as arranged with the tradesperson.

Changes to this Agreement can only be made with the mutual consent of both the Client and Doma Cleaning. We reserve the right to amend these terms and will notify the Client at least 30 days before any changes take effect.

Should any part of these Terms and Conditions be deemed void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of this agreement will continue in effect, with the invalid clause being removed.

Definitions

"Doma Cleaning" refers to the licensed office you are interacting with, authorized to operate in your service area.

The "Client" is the individual or household members at the address specified on page 1 of this Agreement.

"Retainer" is the fee paid by the Client to Doma Cleaning for introducing a tradesperson and covering additional services like replacement for sickness or holidays, recruitment, and insurance.

Our Service

Upon payment of the monthly retainer, the Client gains access to Doma Cleaning's vetted database of tradespeople. Our vetting process includes personal meetings, identity verification, and appropriate background checks, including DBS checks where necessary.

While we strive to ensure competence in the tradespeople we introduce, Doma Cleaning is not liable for any shortcomings or perceived failures in our vetting process.

The Client will enter into a direct contract with any employed tradesperson for services rendered, with Doma Cleaning acting solely as the introducer.

Payment

The Client agrees to pay the agreed retainer to Doma Cleaning by standing order, direct debit, or cheque (if agreed upon).

This payment is due monthly and continues until the Agreement's termination by either party. No refunds will be given for advance payments upon cancellation. Payment responsibility to the tradesperson lies solely with the Client.

Insurance

Tradespeople working under this Agreement are covered by Doma Cleaning's insurance policy, up to a public liability limit of £1 million. Clients are expected to be capable of making informed decisions and are responsible for their actions.

By signing this Agreement, the Client confirms their mental competence and responsibility for their actions.

Doma Cleaning's insurance liability is contingent upon the Client's timely payments. Clients may request a copy of our insurance policy for detailed coverage information.

Liability Exclusion

Doma Cleaning cannot assure specific service types or quality. We will not be liable for uncompleted work or for failing to fulfil this Agreement due to the Client's breach of obligations. We may terminate the Agreement if unable to rectify a breach.
Doma Cleaning's liability is limited to the insurance cover scope and will not cover losses incurred due to a tradesperson's contractual failures.

Cancellation Policy

To ensure a smooth operation and fair compensation for our cleaning staff, we've implemented a 24-hour cancellation policy. Any adjustments or cancellations must be notified within this timeframe; otherwise, a 50% cancellation fee will apply. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
